Happy weekend! I joined the bandwagon of EOS lipbalms addict. Got these from a girltalker who pools orders in US. I got three variants summer fruit, mint and honeysuckle. I sold mint and honeysuckle because I can't use three simultaneously. hihi!

So what does EOS lipbalms say? (taken from their site)

My verdict:

PROS

• Yes it has long-lasting moisture than other lipbalms I've tried
• Smoothes on clear
• Unique and colorful packaging
• Subtle scent and taste
• Organic

CONS

• A little bit pricey for a lipbalm but it's not my problem as long as it is HG material
• Not available locally so additional charges might occur if you have no relatives or friends in the states

Will I but this again? And my rating.

• Absolutely YES and I'll give it 5 out of 5 points

ON HIATUS

Hi everyone! This blog will be on hiatus. I've updated this last 2009 but due to some emotional incidents that happened in my life, I haven't written anything for the year 2010. Until now, I'm still not ready to post about my current addictions thou I'm still an addict and getting more addict as before. Maybe after two or three months, I will be back on mood and ready to face and post everything here. I just have some major concerns to attend to..

VENUS and MARS Lurveee

I know lotta of you guys are familiar with VnM products especially their emu oil. Well, here are my faves among their line.. :) (pics got from their site)
Emu Oil - As an anemic, I'm prone to bruises. Since I used this one, my bruises healed faster than before. I also used them for insect bites. :)

Emu Bare It All Cream - I love the minty feeling when it touches my skin. Love to use 'em after exfoliating.. :)


Lip Butter Balm - my HG lip balm.. yum yum!

Spa Milk Salt Scrub - you could really feel the difference after using them! Love it!

MY FAVES in CYLEINA ORGANIC SOAPS

I know lotsa blogger and girltalkers out there can testify to the effectiveness of Cyleina products. These are organic soaps that can deliver everything you want to achieve on your skin. They have different variants that can satisfy what your'e opting to achieve. :)

As for me, here are my favorite variants of Cyleina Soaps:

WHITENING
1. Black Pearl - the best seller among the line. Though the size is small it really delivers what it claim- whitening. I have stopped my supplements after using this for month! Big savings! I'm pairing black pearl to dove soaps. And I use them at night before going to sleep since BP is mentholated.

2. PGM - my second fave whitening soap plus it has moisturizers

3. TOMATO - really gives a glowing look in your skin

EXFOLIATING
-these are all safe to use daily. I usually combo them and useverymorning. My alternate combos:

1. Rice Bran paired with Tomato
2. Strawberry paired with GSE or Shea Butter
3. Honey Oatmeal paired with PGM

MOISTURIZING
- both really gives smooth feeling and subtle smell
1. Grape Seed Extract
2. Shea Butter

For the face, I use Beauche Beauty Bar and Clean and Clear Daily Pore Cleanser if I want to exfoliate.. :)

Super Tipid Mode - Rules on how to SAVE!

See my wedding countdown right there? Oh my, seems it's telling me that there's so much I have to save for. My fiance and I decided not to get financial help from our parents as much as possible so we are really saving for our big day. How about my vanity? I know girls, you would understand what I'm trying to say. You know that impulse when you have read something in GT or in a beauty blog that you think you would like to try? Waaaaaaah! That's the hardest part I think. I don't want it to be screwed! hahaha! But I've gotta save. So here's my 5 simple rules. (you might also wanna try)

1. Buy only what's important and not what my impulse is telling me (help me Lord).

2. Since I have my unused stash of make-ups, not tons though, (just started with this addiction) I'd better used them and emptied them!

3. Must avoid reading posts in GT and blogs (since it's one of the temptation.. hehehe) but not totally abandoning them.

4. Just hoard from a brand and never hoard again for until nth month or until you emptied them. Well, I've emptied my BE now but I would still have to abide with rule # 2. :C

5. Got to have a strong will power. Ü

Beauche Facial Set

I don't usually blog on weekdays 'coz of my busy sched at work and as an Accountant, month end is super toxic.

Today I just want to blog about my ever HG facial care- Beauche International Facial Set.


Beauche was introduced first to my sister by her officemate in Air Phils. She received it as a gift. At first, she was hesitant in using it kasi nga not known yung product tsaka medyo bago pa lang siya sa Air Phil. Until nakita niya yung pagbabago ng skin nun kasamahan nia sa work, she decided to use it also. 2 weeks palang noticeable na yung changes. Pumuti yung face niya and glowy yung skin. Pati sa mga pictures hindi na dull yung mga kuha. Nagbenta siya, she was the first one to make this as a biz, I'm one of her clients. It was October 2007 when I started using it. Ginamit ko 'to while I was on leave sa office. 2 months din kasi akong nawala kasi I took a review class. Pagbalik ko ng office, voila! Lahat pinansin na mas maganda daw yung face ko. Clearer, glowy at rosy cheeks! Ü

My sister continued the biz until she left for Abu Dhabi. Greater opportunities for her. Kaya ako nagtuloy. I started sa office, sa friends then sa multiply. I'm proud to say that I am one of the pioneers dito sa multiply. Yung iba kasi sa ebay and sulit nagbebenta. Yep, I admit mahal benta ko dati kasi I was startin' palang pero ngayon at retail ko na siya binebenta 'coz medyo madami na akong customers. Maganda kasi talaga ang effect ng Beauche kaya kahit costly, patronized pa din. Ü

Amazing product deserves a good review. Five stars for BEAUCHE. Achieve a clear, supple and rosy skin in 7 days. Ü

After almost three years I'm still using it pero not on a daily basis.. Every other day nalang.. Tapos I rid na yung age eraser and used BB creams instead. Minsan, I used a set of Beauche 'pag naubos change of products na, but since then I never get rid of it in my beauty routine. Ü

My sister bought some fake nails from Switzerland so I decided to use it. Tadah!

REVIEW: GARNIER SELF-HEATING MASK + CLEAN AND CLEAR DAILY PORE CLEANSER

I had my period so I wasn't able to go to Luz or M for a facial. These dirts on my face really bothers me so as quick remedy here's what I've tried.

I have used Garnier Pure Self-heating mask before and consider this as my review.

For me, it really delivers its purpose - to remove that stubborn dirt on your face in just 3 minutes. I'm using it once a week. I just apply it on my face and you will feel the heat, leave it for 3 minutes and rinse it. The result, cleansed pores! You can also extract some whiteheads and blackheads (mildly) since the pores are now already open due to the inflicted heat or in my case since I have my period, I used Clean and Clear Deep Pore cleanser instead, scrub it, rinse it and that's it! Cleansed face after!

Though it's not that perfect like when you go to facials but as a weekly routine it's very effective in cleansing your face for those dirts that hard to removed and clogged your pores.

I gave both products 5 points. :)

UNEXPECTED HAUL =)

May 31, we're about to watch Terminator but arrived there early after our Anakis overnight at Imperial Palace and Lunch at Dads, West Ave.

Since the movie will be shown an hour after we arrived at Trinoma, each of us headed into our different locations at the mall that will fancy our needs and addictions.

Where I headed? of course vanity strikes.. hehehe!

Went to Landmark and found that it was sale and here's what I got.

In2It Brow Powder

Why I bought it? Found a rave of it in GT and since I'm in constant search of brow powders coz my brows are thin and not that visible, I decided to give it a try. The color black matches my brow that when I'm wearing it seems I'm not wearing 'em. The brown is also good though and I could wear also both colors with a good brush. I used mu Blusche angled liner brush when I'm applying brow powders.

Will I but it again? Yes! yes! yes!

Maybelline Unstoppable Mascara

Still can't find my HG Mascara so I tried this one. I don't want the volumizing effect so I chose this over other Maybelline line. So far, so good but still it isn't my HG Mascara. It smudges a bit too but doesn't give you the raccoon eyes. I dunno but still I'm not satisfied. hehehe! Will post EOTD soon so you could see.


Will I buy this again? Maybe. Until I found my HG.

Dickinson's Witch hazel Toner - nothing I just want a toner. I don't have a choice of toner. Any toner will do for me. Bought it 'coz it's organic.

Aromaleigh Haul

Ordered May 4. Package received by Makati PO may 26. Received notice, June 1. Got the items June 2. Though it took almost a month of waiting it was worth it! =)

I ordered 1 Color Infusion Botanical Lipstick in Karma and samples of all Color Infusion Botanical Lipstick.

I fell in love with Karma when AL gave me a sample last time I ordered URFPs with them. It easily glides my lips and the color is puuurffffect! The site tells that it is a lush frosted berry, pink and mauve tones and subtle shimmer. (cool). I could wear them daily and it looks natural on my lips. =)

Arrived there at around 7pm with Glenn and left 8pm with 2 havs (one for Eya) made while Glenn has one too.
Good thing I was with Glenn that we never fall in line. He's not just a VIP mind you but a Super VIP.. :) Imagine if I will go there alone without him. My time would be such a waste! Maybe, I'll be spending 5hrs falling in line outside and another 5hrs of falling in line waiting for my customize havs to be made. Thank you Glenn you're such a peach! Mmuawaaaah!

BB Cream Reviews

I got the chance to try 3 samples of BB Creams. Liole Beyond Solutions, Skinfood Aloe and Missha Perfect Cover. These free samples were given by Clau. For those who want to try out first and would not like to buy full size of BB creams Clau is selling samples in ebay, you can check her username: dreamfairy07

Here are my review: (sorry no pics)

I used all the BB creams morning before I go to work. No MMUs applied just plain BB cream so I could really tell what effect it would make me during the day.

Liole Beyond the Solutions

When I applied it nothing different happened. It was like I applied a normal moisturizer. As for oil control, it's not effective for me. 2 hrs after oily na agad. So as a remedy, used my finpow- AL's URFP, good thing URFPs are good to control the oilies.

Would I buy this one? Definitely no.

Skinfood Aloe

This is the first one I road tested. The finish is matte but for me coverage is not that good though it has. I have dark circles that really needs to be covered kasi. For oilies, it is somehow ok and it should be ok 'coz the product is suitable for those with oily skin. I think I used a blotting paper around lunch time na. For me this product is good for daily stuffs, when you just walk outside to get some fresh air, or go to a friend's house or buy something at a nearby store.

Would I buy this one? Maybe, for daily purposes it's good but it's costly to be a daily stuff.

Missha Perfect Cover

The name speaks for itself Perfect Cover. The coverage for me is good. Dark circles covered, and got a flawless finish. It is the first sample that I used up. It does control my oilies, used blotting paper around 2pm in the afternoon. I can say that this is my HG BB cream so far. With high SPF, my sunblock was just saved from daily usage.

Would I buy this one? Definitely yes.

Still scouting some brands. I might try TFS Quick and Clean or The Skin. What would you recommend? Or do you have other brands that in mind?

Dreamworld Loot
